What to expect at your first appointment:

Allow 1 hour for your initial consultation.

The physiotherapist will ask many questions about your specific condition, your general health and lifestyle. This is to be able to fully understand your condition and find out what your aim of treatment is. The physiotherapist will then do a physical examination. With your consent, this may involve exposing the relevant area to assess your range of movement, strength and general function.

At the end of the assessment, the physiotherapist will discuss an appropriate plan to treat you and together you will set goals for a successful outcome.
